What gets checked, and what doesn't.

We're honest about the line between what a tool can verify and what still needs your eyes.

We check the file

  • Color space (CMYK / RGB)
Catches the #1 cause of color shifts on press.
  • Bleed
Measured against your printer's exact requirement.
  • Embedded fonts
So your headline doesn't get substituted.
  • Image resolution
    Flags low-DPI images by page.
  • Page count for binding
Multiples of 4 for saddle-stitched, etc.

You confirm with the shop

  • Paper stock
Same CMYK looks different on coated vs uncoated.
  • Second-screen review
Fresh eyes catch what the working monitor hides.
  • Shop naming convention
    Some shops auto-sort by filename.
  • Special finishing
Spot UV, foiling, die-cuts — your call.

Use generic print rules, or add your printer's spec for a sharper report.

Drop your printer's PDF spec sheet and we'll match every check to their exact requirements. The difference is the difference between "probably fine" and "yes, send it."

Why I built this

I built this for designers who send print files without a prepress team. I'm Agustina, a designer in Haarlem. I've watched friends eat the cost of bad print runs, and every time I send something to print, I feel it too.
